Chennai, July 2022: Academic Topper’s of SIMATS School of Engineering were honored during the Toppers Award Ceremony at SIMATS School of Engineering. Dr. S. Nagesh, Scientist ‘F’ Project Director, CVRDE, DRDO, Chennai, obliged as the ceremony’s chief guest, while Dr. N. M. Veeraiyan, Honorable Founder and Chancellor of SIMATS, presided over the event. Our esteemed Director Dr. Ramya Deepak gave the welcome speech.
The top students were appreciated for their outstanding efforts and accomplishments at the presidential address by our Honorable Founder and Chancellor Dr. N. M. Veeraiyan. In his provocative lecture, the chief guest provided a clear description of the key elements that employers look for in engineering graduates. By using examples from his personal experiences and illustrating his points with a variety of interesting instances with which he was able to hold the students’ attention.
Recognizing and appreciating students’ accomplishments and inspiring them to continue excelling in the classroom by reaching the peak of success by learning more theoretical and practical information is the main goal of this ceremony.413 students from all the major engineering departments received awards for their exceptional achievement in the university examinations for the academic year 2021–2022, including certificates, gold medals, and mementoes. The Institute held this special event to honor the students, primarily to increase their sense of self-worth and kindle the interest of other students in achieving great things in their fields of study in the future.
