Chennai, June 2020: Corona-Reliefs are being supplied by various NGOs in the Corona Affected Areas in Chennai. Annai Teresa Charitable Trust from Shenoy Nagar, Chennai provided essential goods to people who are economically weaker and more vulnerable to corona virus zones. Annai Teresa Charitable Trust‘s Home as one of the outstanding institutions for the welfare of the most vulnerable children’s with special needs and mental/physical challenges as well as destitute children in Tamilnadu State, India. The relief items were handed over to more than 100 underprivileged families living in the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board apartments at TP Chatram in Chennai on Tuesday (02-June -2020).

During the occasion, Mr.Gopi Sarathy, Founder, Annai Teresa Charitable Trust said, Thousands of families across Tamil Nadu have lost their livelihoods due to coronavirus. Our Annai Teresa Charitable Trust is trying to help them in this difficult situation. We are working on Corona Awareness in collaboration with the Corporation of Chennai in areas affected by Corona. As a part of our Covid-19 relief activities, today we have provided essential relief items to more than 100 underprivileged families residing in Tamil Slum Clearance Board apartments at T.P.Chathiram, Chennai. We are planning to extend this service to various parts of Chennai. And we are very grateful to the people who have donated funds to our trust during this time.
